Becoming a Jesuit

Young men joining the Jesuits go through a year of prenovitiate,

then a year of Juniorate,                                                                               CLICK HERE TO SEE PHOTOS OF JUNIORATE on their own website

then two years of Philosophy studies,

then special studies depending on what their future work will be (e.g., Education,  Engineering,  Social Work, Agriculture...)

then two years of regency where they work in Jesuit institutions to get a hands-on experience of their future,

then four years of theology.

Below are the locations of our young Jesuits (called Scholastics) who are in "houses of formation" or doing regency (working in our institutions).
